What is Waste and Its Types?

Waste is something we called as trash or undesirable things that have no utilization and we would prefer not to find in our environmental factors. Types of Waste

These sources can cause water pollution which results in contamination of drinking water and disturb the aquatic ecosystem.

Organic Waste

These are Biodegradable waste, regularly known as Green Waste which is created from food, nursery, plants or animals. Examples: Banana Peels, paper, cardboard, Coffee berries, meat processing waste etc.


Recyclable Trash

Hazardous Waste

These are one of the most destructive waste categories usually generated from industries and hospitals. If handled inappropriately then cause a severe harm to society and nature. All poisonous, flammable, acidic and reactive components come under Hazardous waste.

Examples: Pesticides, garden chemicals, batteries, oily paper filters, laboratory waste etc.
